Drop-off, Lunch and Aftercare
Morning and Lunch
Child care is available for early drop-off from 7:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. and for lunch (for children under age five) from noon until 1:00 p.m. Students must bring their own lunches.
About Daycare
We are unable to offer full-day daycare for children under the age of five. However, the Goldsboro Family YMCA shares a building with us, and they offer a program that may meet the needs of your child after the morning program. Parents can choose to use the YMCA's childcare program every day after school or on a drop-in basis. The YMCA's drop-in rate is $25 per day.
After School Care
After school care is available daily from 2:30 to 6 p.m. for children in the Extended Day and Elementary programs. Activities such as arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, games, computer time and quiet time are offered. A healthy snack and beverage are served daily.
Parents can pre-arrange weekly use of the program and for drop-in use, place their child's name on a sheet posted weekly on the office window.
Rates are effective for the 2009-10 school year only.
